WAIT, WHERE ARE THE BEFORE & AFTER PHOTOS?

We have discontinued the practice of sharing patients’ progress photos for several reasons.

• Laser tattoo removal has been so prevalent in recent years that there’s no question that it works. Careful patient selection, setting of expectations, and proper use of the technology reduce much of the mystery around tattoo removal. In your consultation, we will use our ten years of experience to help you understand what to expect from YOUR tattoos.
• It’s no secret that before/after pictures are carefully selected to make a business look good, whether it’s tattoo removal, cosmetic surgery, coverup tattoos, BOTOX, etc. With results so variable from person to person, we don’t think it’s right so lure you to TattooMedics with someone else’s results.
• Tattoos are themselves identifying. Even without showing someone’s face, you might still recognize someone by their tattoos. Since we are a doctor’s office that does laser tattoo removal exclusively, we’re different from salons, tattoo shops, and other tattoo removal businesses not operating on a medical model. Patient confidentiality is very important to us. Even if someone gives permission share their photos, we still don’t want to expose them to strangers at their gyms, parks, yoga studios, or on the street.
